Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

We are not the U.S. government. Immigration Interviews is an independent, private practice tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security, or any government agency. We do not file, review, or submit anything to USCIS on your behalf.

The short version: Your N-400 answers stay in your own browser on your own device. We never upload them to our servers, and we never see them. Please do not type your Social Security number, A-Number, or other sensitive identifiers anywhere in this service.

1. Who we are

Immigration Interviews ("we," "us," the "Service") is operated by Cyberdefen, Inc., located in Texas, United States. You can reach us at oscaralvarezdosa@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we cannot read them.

Subscription information. If you subscribe, we store your plan status, subscription status, and a customer identifier provided by our payment processor. We never receive or store your card number.

Practice activity. The text of your practice interview conversation is sent to our AI provider so the officer can respond. If you use the microphone, your recorded audio is sent to our AI provider to be converted into text. We do not build a permanent archive of your interview recordings.

Technical information. Standard server and security logs, such as IP address and browser type, generated when you use the Service.

3. Information we deliberately do NOT collect

This is the most important section of this policy, because Form N-400 contains highly sensitive personal information.

  • Your N-400 answers are stored only in your own browser (in local storage on your device). They are not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.
  • Uploaded N-400 PDF files are read entirely inside your browser. The file itself is never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and it is not saved after you close the page.
  • You can delete your saved N-400 information at any time from the Personalized N-400 page.

Please do not enter your Social Security number, Alien Registration Number (A-Number), passport number, financial account numbers, or medical information anywhere in this Service. The Service does not need them, and you should never provide them to a practice tool.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service. They process information only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — account creation, login, and storage of your account and subscription status.
  • OpenAI — generating the officer's responses, converting text to speech, and converting your recorded audio to text.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects your payment details directly under its own privacy policy; we do not see them.
  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of the website.

Because your practice conversation is processed by our AI provider, you should not disclose information during a practice interview that you would not want processed by a third party. When the officer asks a question, a realistic but non-identifying answer is enough.

5. How we use information

  • To provide the practice interviews and study tools you request.
  • To create and secure your account.
  • To process subscriptions and apply the correct plan features.
  • To communicate with you about your account, billing, or service changes.
  • To detect abuse, fraud, and misuse of the Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

6. We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your practice interview content to advertise to you.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Delete your N-400 information — at any time, directly in the Personalized N-400 page. This removes it from your device immediately.
  • Access or delete your account — email us at oscaralvarezdosa@gmail.com and we will delete your account and associated data, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.
  • Cancel your subscription — at any time; see our Refund Policy.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

8. Data retention

We keep account and subscription information for as long as your account is active, and afterward only as long as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. N-400 information is retained on your own device only, under your control, until you delete it or clear your browser data.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, trusted infrastructure providers, and access controls to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keeping your password confidential is your responsibility.

10. Children

The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Service.

11. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from another country, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
